Fairway welcomes VW to Chattanooga!

CHATTANOOGA, TENN. --- Volkswagen AG is to build it's first United States assembly plant in Chattanooga, officials said today. Fairway Outdoor was excited to hear the news of the automotive giant building here. In response Fairway was the first to announce via digital billboard minutes before the official press conference. The digital billboard displayed a design reading ''Guten tag! Chattanooga welcomes VW!''

Fairway Chattanooga's GM Barry Asmann said he was thrilled to hear the news and wanted to be the first to welcome VW here to Chattanooga. He went on to say he is excited about the potential economic impact as well as thousands of new jobs this will create for the Chattanooga region.
