Dear Mr. Guild:
Thank you for generously donating the display rental space (valued
by you at approx., $3,000) for the 13th Annual Desert AIDS Walk.
We appreciate your care, concern, and generosity. In accordance
with IRS regulations, no value appraisal is done by the Project.
During this time of new hope for those infected with and affected
by HIV disease, this donation will help Desert Aids Project to
continue as the primary source of direct medical care and supportive
services for men, women, and children living with HIV / AIDS in
the Coachella Valley and surrounding areas.
The number of persons touched by this disease continues to grow,
as does the need for services offered by Desert Aids Project.
This year, D.A.P. will serve thousands of individuals by providing
outpatient medical care, case management, benefits counseling,
in-home nursing services, group and individual counseling, pharrmaceuticals,
nutrition counseling, legal services and food and transportation
services, as well as linkages to other AIDS services. We also
have a far-reaching education and prevention program, which targets
at-risk populations in our community.
Desert Aids Project is committed to our leadership role in the
fight against HIV / AIDS. We are proud of the assistance that
we are able to provide those living with HIV / AIDS in the Coachella
Valley through the unselfish giving the individuals such as you.
Again, thank you for your generous support.
Sincerely,
John L. Brown
