March 4, 2003 Steve Guild, GM Dear Steve: I was recently notified by several board members of the Riverside County Chapter of the American Red Cross regarding your complimentary letter and photo of the donated I-10 billboard space totaling $ 21,600 for the year as an in-kind advertising gift to our Chapter. The first time I saw the billboard, I was in total ''awe'' and so very proud to have such great visibility and signage about our Read Cross Chapter. It looks terrific! This letter is to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude for your gift. At a time when we are facing financial crisis as a result of reductions in giving within Riverside County, Fairway's advertising support is a demonstration of your belief in our mission to help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. People look to the Red Cross to be there in times of emergency and it is people like you who help us help others. If ever we can return your generosity through life-saving training for employees and/or families and/or provide disaster-preparedness education tips, don¹t hesitate to contact me.
