Dear Kirk, I wanted to drop you a note just to tell you that
I enjoy working with you year-to-year on the Mount Olive Pickle
Company account. It seems we have been doing these postings twice
a year forever. (Are we getting old, here)?
Anyway, thanks again for your professional service over the years.
Outdoor is the way to go. I am a firm believer. I am sure that
you are aware that we (at Charles Crone Associates) started buying
outdoor for Mount Olive Pickles back in the mid-60s!! - that is
over 30 years worth of billboards.
As we have discussed many times, in terms of cost-per-thousand
reach - there is NO other medium that comes close ... and believe
ME, I put the pencil to every proposal that crosses my desk.
Often the radio sales industry promotes itself as the "better
buy", but I beg to differ. Our commitment at this agency
for the past 39 years is clearly obvious. We buy outdoor because
it generates results ... at the cash register. Plain and simple.
